Cherries In The Snow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 container (large) Cool Whip
    1 angel food cake (7 or 8 oz.)
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Blend together cream cheese and sugar. Blend Cool Whip into cheese mix. Crumble 1/2 cake in bottom of 9 x 13-inch dish. Pour 1/2 cheese mix on top. Pour 1/2 cherries on top of that and repeat with rest of cake, mix and cherries. Chill for several hours before serving.
