Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. brown corn syrup
    1 unbaked pie shell
    1 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Beat eggs until light.
    Add sugar gradually, beating after each addition.
    Add melted butter; add syrup and mix well.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Cover pie with pecan halves and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
    Yield 6 servings.
