Tan Macaroons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    2 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. coconut
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Beat egg whites to form
    soft peaks.
    Gradually beat in brown sugar, vanilla and salt.
    Fold
    in
    pecans
    and coconut. Drop by teaspoon onto a greased
    cookie
    sheet one inch apart. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Turn off oven heat and let stand in the oven for 20 minutes more.
