Ingredients

3/4 c. unsifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 large egg
1/2 c. nuts
1/2 c. butter or oleo
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Blend together well your soda and flour.
Cream butter and peanut butter in a medium sized mixing bowl; beat in one ingredient at a time, the granulated sugar, the brown sugar, egg and vanilla.
Then add flour mixture, mixing it well.
Stir in nuts and chocolate pieces. Drop from a teaspoon heaped full onto a cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven until they are light brown which takes about 10 minutes.
Let cookies cool a minute before removing them with a spatula.
