German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 to 14 medium potatoes, peeled, boiled, cooled and diced
    5 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and sliced
    1/2 lb. bacon, diced and fried until nearly crisp (spoon off some grease)
    1 medium onion, diced
    1/3 c. vinegar
    2/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. flour
    water
    salt and pepper to taste
    celery salt to taste
Preparation
    Add onion to nearly crisp bacon and cook until transparent. Add vinegar, sugar, flour, water, salt, pepper and celery salt. Keep cooking and stirring until it is bubbly gravy; add water to keep it a thin consistency.
    Pour over diced potatoes and eggs. Serve warm.
    Makes 2 casseroles full.
