Valentine Special Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 bottle red food coloring
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. buttermilk
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. vinegar

Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar, eggs, food coloring, cocoa, salt, buttermilk, flour and vanilla.
Beat until smooth. Mix vinegar and soda.
Fold into first mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes in two (9-inch) cake pans.
