Cottage Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime jello
    1 (16 oz.) carton cottage cheese
    1 envelope Dream Whip
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    In a
    small saucepan, heat pineapple until hot and stir in jello
    until it is completely dissolved.
    Pour into a large bowl. Let cool.
    Add cottage cheese and chill until partially congealed. Prepare Dream Whip.
    Fold prepared Dream Whip into jello mixture; stir in pecans.
    Pour into 2-quart dish.
    Chill until firm.
