Chicken Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. boneless skinless chicken, cut 1-inch pieces
    1/2 lb. smoked sausage, cut up
    1 bag (16 oz.) frozen vegetables (I use Meyer Mexican blend; broccoli, corn, etc.)
    1 can (14 1/2 oz.) stewed tomatoes
    1 1/2 c. water
    diced onion
    oregano and bay leaf
Preparation
    Brown onion and meats in Dutch oven or electric skillet. Cook chicken until done or use leftover turkey or chicken.
    Add vegetables, tomatoes, water and spices.
    Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer until it is time to eat!
    Or put in crock-pot.
