Pound Cake With Seven Minute Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter (room temperature)
    3 c. sugar
    6 large eggs
    4 c. flour (plain)
    3/4 c. sweet milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one.
    Add flour and milk (alternate), adding flour last.
    Add vanilla; beat well.
    Pour into a well-greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake in a 300\u00b0 preheated oven for 2 hours.
