Apple Harvest Blondies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. margarine
    2 c. packed brown sugar
    3 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 medium/large apples, peeled and chopped
    3 or 4 oz. cream cheese
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Place cream cheese in freezer 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Melt margarine in saucepan. Remove from burner and stir in 2 cups brown sugar. Add eggs, flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla. Fold in chopped apple. Place in ungreased (or sprayed) 13 x 9 pan. Chop cream cheese in small pieces and mix with remaining ingredients. Sprinkle over batter and bake 35 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature. Refrigerate leftovers.
