Easy Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 stick butter/margarine
    1 can fruit (canned) of choice (e.g., peaches, pineapple, cherries, etc. with juice up to 1/2 c.)
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients.
    Add milk and mix to smooth batter. Melt 1 stick butter/margarine in baking pan (approximately 9 x 13-inches).
    Pour batter over melted butter/margarine.
    Pour fruit and juice (up to 1/2 cup) over batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 35 to 40 minutes, until lightly browned.
