Cheesy Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

16 to 18 medium potatoes or boxed hash browns
1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
1 medium onion
1 can cream of celery or cream of mushroom
1/2 pt. sour cream
margarine
Preparation

Boil potatoes in skins until almost done.
Cool, pare and grate potatoes and layer in greased 10 x 13-inch baking dish. Layer of potatoes, layer of cheese and onions.
Cover with half of soup and sour cream.
Add another layer of potatoes and cheese. Spread remaining soup and sour cream and salt.
Dot with margarine.
Can be refrigerated overnight.
May need small amount of milk when baking.
Bake uncovered at 275\u00b0 for 2 hours.
Can use all half and half instead of sour cream and soup.
