Yams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 medium sweet potatoes
    1 1/4 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bake potatoes; skin, slice and place in a bowl.
    In a saucepan, add sugar and water; boil to soft ball form.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour over sliced potatoes and bake 1/2 hour at 350\u00b0 (uncovered).
