Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    1 box lemon jello
    1 c. cold water
    1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped
    1 c. grated cheese
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cook pineapple and sugar until sugar is dissolved.
    Mix jello and water.
    Add to pineapple mixture.
    Chill until it begins to set, then stir in whipped cream, cheese and nuts.
    Best if refrigerated overnight.
