Snowballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. chopped nuts or coconut
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar together.
    Sift flour.
    Add salt and re-sift.
    Add to creamed mixture, working it thoroughly with fingers.
    Work in vanilla and nuts or coconut.
    Chill about 1 hour, then roll about 1-inch in diameter.
    Cut 1-inch lengths and roll into balls.
    Place on lightly greased pan.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 14 to 17 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Roll in confectioners sugar when cooled.
