Dipped Shortbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. unsifted flour
1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate or butterscotch chips
1 Tbsp. shortening
nuts or chocolate sprinkles (optional)
Preparation

Combine flour, butter, powdered sugar and vanilla.
Measure 1 teaspoon of dough, roll into 2 inch logs.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Cool completely.
In a double boiler melt shortening and chocolate chips.
Dip one end of cookie into chocolate and roll in nuts or chocolate sprinkles.
