Homemade Ice Cream (Basic) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. heavy cream
    2 1/2 to 3 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 qt. half and half
    4 eggs
Preparation
    For a 6-quart freezer, put 1 cup cream, eggs, 1 cup sugar and vanilla in blender.
    Add 1 cup half and half.
    Turn on lowest speed and blend until sugar is dissolved and creamy.
    Add enough milk in freezer can until 2/3 full or up to full line.
    Pack with ice and salt.
    For 4-quart freezer, reduce amounts to 2 cups.
