Georgia Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. grits
    3 3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    2 large eggs
    4 to 6 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1/4 c. oleo
Preparation
    In heavy pot, bring grits and 3 cups of milk to boil, stirring constantly.
    Beat eggs and 3/4 cup milk.
    Add this to grits and cook an additional 3 minutes.
    Add cheese, salt and oleo.
    Pour in a buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Bake 45 minutes in 325\u00b0 oven until browned and puffed.
