Pecan-Snowball Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. finely chopped pecans
    powdered sugar (for topping)
Preparation
    Cream margarine and 1/2 cup powdered sugar.
    Add vanilla. Blend flour and salt into creamed mixture.
    Add nuts and blend well.
    Shape dough into 1-inch diameter balls.
    Place onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until set but not browned, about 10 minutes.
    Remove from oven; place on cooling rack with waxed paper under rack.
    Sift powdered sugar over cookies.
    Yield: 50.
