Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. water
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated skimmed milk
1/3 c. egg substitute
1/2 c. fat-free sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract
22 vanilla wafers
3 medium ripe bananas, sliced
3 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Combine 1/2 cup sugar and cornstarch in heavy pan.
Gradually stir in water, milk and egg substitute.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil.
Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat.
Fold in sour cream and vanilla.
