Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head lettuce
    1 c. chopped green onions
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 small box frozen peas, thawed
    1 c. mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    grated Cheddar cheese
    bacon bits
Preparation
    Cut (or break) lettuce in bite sizes and place in a 9 x 12-inch container.
    Add all other ingredients in order given, over lettuce, layer upon layer.
    Refrigerate until ready to serve.
