Butterscotch Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    2 heaping Tbsp. flour
    pinch of salt
    2 egg yolks
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix brown sugar, flour and salt together.
    Mix 2 egg yolks and 1/4 cup cold milk together.
    Combine with sugar-flour mixture. Put remaining milk until it forms a scum; add this mixture and cook until thick, stirring constantly.
    Add butter and vanilla. Cool; then pour into a pie shell.
    Make meringue and brown in a 400\u00b0 oven for 5 minutes.
