Chocolate, Caramel And Pecan Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. granulated sugar
2/3 c. water
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
6 Tbsp. unsalted butter
3 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
2 c. pecan halves and pieces or walnuts or toasted almonds

Preparation

This sauce can be made to give as a present and is especially good over ice cream.
