Taco-Filled Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
    1 (8 oz.) can kidney beans
    1 c. salsa
    1 chopped tomato
    4 green peppers
Preparation
    Brown meat and onion.
    Drain.
    Stir in taco seasoning and drained kidney beans and salsa.
    Simmer 3 to 5 minutes.
    Cut peppers in half and clean.
    Immerse in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain.
    Fill with meat mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes, covered.
    Top with chopped tomatoes, shredded Cheddar cheese and sour cream (optional).
    Serves 4.
