Rotel Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. tomatoes, peeled and sliced
    1/2 c. vinegar
    4 medium white onions, chopped
    1/2 c. sugar (optional)
    4 tsp. salt
    4 medium bell pepper, chopped
    hot peppers to taste (10 or 12), cut small
Preparation
    Cook all ingredients together until tomatoes will mash easy. Fill jars and seal.
    Cold pack for 25 minutes.
    Makes 9 pints.
