Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    2 (6 oz.) instant vanilla pudding
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    4 bananas, sliced
    1 (16 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    Prepare cake according to directions.
    Pour into one round and one square 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Bake and cool.
    Place round layer in bottom of punch bowl.
    Then layer remaining ingredients in order in bowl using 1/2 of each.
    Cube the square layer cake and place in bowl and then layer remaining ingredients in order again in bowl.
    Garnish with nuts and maraschino cherries.
