Puffed Sweet Omelet - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs, separated
1 Tbsp. honey
1 Tbsp. Amaretto
dash of nutmeg
1 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. slivered almonds
Preparation

Brown the almonds by toasting lightly in the oven or saute in a little butter.
Beat the egg whites in a bowl until they form stiff peaks.
Beat the egg yolks in another bowl with the honey, liqueur and nutmeg.
Scoop a spoonful of the egg whites into the yolks and stir until combined.
Now pour the yolk mixture into the egg whites and fold together gently.
Preheat your broiler.
Heat a 10 or 12-inch frying pan over medium heat and add the butter. When the foam subsides and the butter just begins to color, add the omelet mixture.
Do not stir.
Cook for exactly 1 minute until the bottom is browned.
Place the pan containing the omelet under the broiler for 20 to 30 seconds.
Slide the omelet onto a serving platter, folding as you do.
Garnish with the almonds and serve.
