Creole Wieners - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 slices bacon, diced
3 c. minced onion
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 lb. wieners
Preparation

In large skillet, fry bacon and onion until bacon is crisp and onion is tender.
Drain all but 2 tablespoons bacon drippings from skillet.
Stir in tomatoes, salt and pepper.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add wieners; cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Makes 5 to 6 servings.
