Salmon Croquettes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can salmon or tuna
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 heaping tsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. liquid from salmon or tuna
    1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Preheat cooking oil 2 or 3 inches deep in a small pan.
    Drain all but 1/3 liquid from the salmon or tuna and set aside.
    Put salmon or tuna in mixing bowl and break apart until you have it in no big flakes.
    Add flour and egg.
    Use a dash of pepper but no salt.
    Add baking powder to the liquid and beat well with fork or whisk until frothy (this is an important step, do not skip).
    Pour into salmon and stir until well blended.
    Scoop about a teaspoon of the mixture at a time into the hot oil.
    Brown on both sides.
