Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

boneless sirloin steak, partially frozen
2 Tbsp. oil
1 can beef broth
1 large green bell pepper, chopped or cut into strips
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
hot cooked rice
Preparation

Cut steak into about 1-inch cubes.
Brown steak in oil over medium heat until done.
Add beef broth, garlic salt, ground ginger and green pepper.
Reduce heat and simmer until crisp-tender.
Combine cornstarch, sugar and soy sauce, stirring well; add to beef mixture.
Bring to a boil.
This will thicken fast; stir constantly.
Remove from heat.
Serve over rice.
