Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. margarine
    1 1/4 c. chunky peanut butter
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Stir flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, beat margarine and peanut butter until smooth. Beat in sugars, eggs and vanilla.
    Add flour mixture; beat well. Dough may be chilled for a few hours (optional).
    Shape into 1-inch balls; place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork which has been dipped with sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes, or until lightly browned.
    Makes 5 dozen.
