Mashed Potato Donuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cold mashed potatoes
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
2 Tbsp. melted lard
1/2 c. milk
1 level tsp. nutmeg
3 1/2 c. flour plus 3 1/2 tsp. baking powder (sift and use all of the sifted flour)
Preparation

Combine.
Dough will be soft.
Chill thoroughly.
Pat out to 1/4-inches.
Cut and fry at 375\u00b0.
Turn when donuts come to top.
