Vidalia Onion Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. soda cracker crumbs
2 1/2 c. thinly sliced raw Vidalia onions
1 c. milk
1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. melted butter
2 Tbsp. butter
3 eggs, slightly beaten
Preparation

Mix cracker crumbs with 1/2 cup melted butter and press into a 10-inch pie plate.
Saute onions in 2 tablespoons butter and pour into the crust.
Scald milk and add slowly into the eggs.
Add grated cheese and stir.
Pour over onions and bake 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
