Almond Chicken With Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt and white pepper
    1 1/2 lb. boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. oil, divided
    2 oz. slivered almonds
    1 (8 oz.) sliced bamboo shoots, drained
    3 green onions, cut tops off
    1 medium green pepper, cut in 1-inch pieces
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 to 3 tsp. grated ginger root
    2 tsp. white wine
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients.
    Add chicken.
    Mix. Refrigerate 15 minutes.
    Pour 1/4 cup of oil into preheated wok for 1 minute.
    Add chicken.
    Stir-fry 5 minutes.
    Drain on paper towel.
