Chops In Sour Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 chops (pork or venison)
    1/2 tsp. powdered sage
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 onions, diced
    1 beef bouillon cube
    1/4 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
Preparation
    Rub chops with mixture of sage, salt and pepper.
    Brown in shortening.
    Drain excess fat.
    Add onion.
    Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water; pour over chops.
    Cover skillet; simmer for 25 to 30 minutes, until meat is done.
    Remove meat to a hot platter. Combine sour cream and flour in a bowl.
    Slowly stir drippings into mixture until well mixed.
    Return gravy to skillet and boil. Add water to thin gravy to desired consistency.
    Pour over chops. Sprinkle with parsley flakes.
