Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. corn syrup
1/4 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans
1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation

Combine sugar, corn syrup, butter and salt.
Bring to a boil over low heat.
Pour hot syrup slowly over beaten eggs.
Cool; add vanilla and pecans and pour into pie shell.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Reduce temperature to 375\u00b0 and bake 35 to 40 minutes longer.
