Babe Ruth Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. smooth peanut butter
    4 c. toasted rice cereal
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
Preparation
    Combine syrup and sugar in a saucepan.
    Bring to full boil. Remove immediately from heat.
    Mix in peanut butter and cereal. Press into a buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips in top of double boiler.
    Spread over cereal mixture as icing.
    Cool and cut into squares.
