Cherry Nut Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. margarine
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 can cherry pie filling
confectioners sugar
Preparation

Cream oleo and sugar; add vanilla.
Mix in eggs, one at a time.
Stir
in
flour, then nuts.\tMix well.
Spread 3/4 of the batter
in\tthe
bottom
of
an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan. Cover with filling.
Drop remaining batter by teaspoonfuls and spread with a spatula.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Sprinkle with confectioners sugar before serving.
