Lye Soap - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 gal. grease
2 cans lye
2 qt. water
4 tsp. Borax
2 c. ammonia

Preparation

When transporting a decorated cake, keep the wrap or cake cover from touching the frosting by cushioning with marshmallows or raisins stuck on toothpicks.
Insert the toothpicks in the top and sides of cake.
Wrap and you are on your way.
