Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. milk
    1 tsp. baking powder
    4 eggs, separated
    1 c. cornmeal
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Place milk in top of double boiler and heat scalding.
    Slowly add cornmeal.
    Beat until smooth.
    Add butter and cook for 20 minutes.
    Separate eggs; beat yolk.
    Add yolk and baking powder to first mixture.
    Beat egg whites until they peak; fold into the mixture.
    Add chopped turkey or chicken.
    Pour into a well-greased baking dish and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until done.
