Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 large ripe peaches, sliced thin
    2 c. sugar
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Seed and slice peaches and put in plastic bowl.
    Pour 1 cup sugar over peaches.
    Stir well.
    Cover tightly and refrigerate for 2 hours.
