Homemade Applesauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. apples, washed, cored and cut into quarters
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    sugar or honey to taste
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    In a large saucepan place the apple pieces, water and lemon juice.
    Bring to a boil and simmer until the apples are tender. Press the apples through a colander or put them in the blender. Return the strained pulp to the saucepan.
    Add enough sugar or honey for your own taste and sprinkle with cinnamon.
    You can serve hot or cold.
    Makes 3 to 3 1/2 cups.
    Takes approximately 20 minutes.
