Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. white syrup
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. Spanish peanuts
1 1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Boil sugar, salt, white syrup and water to 275\u00b0.
Add butter and vanilla.
Boil to 290\u00b0.
Add Spanish peanuts.
Boil to 300\u00b0. Remove from heat and add soda.
Pour in buttered cookie sheet. Let cool and break in pieces.
