Pecan Kisses - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. pecan pieces
    1 tsp. vinegar (white)
    2 c. sifted powdered sugar
    1 pinch cream of tartar
Preparation
    With electric mixer on high, beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry.
    Gradually beat in sugar, vinegar and vanilla.
    Fold in nuts.
    Drop teaspoon of dough 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Remove from cookie sheet while hot.
    Sprinkle lightly with colored sugar.
