Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. white corn syrup
    2 c. raw Spanish peanuts
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Combine sugar and syrup in heavy skillet or saucepan. Cook over high heat until sugar dissolves, then add peanuts.
    Turn heat to medium and cook for about 10 minutes or until syrup darkens. Add soda and stir. Work quickly and spread thinly on greased cookie sheet. When cold, break into pieces.
