Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
2/3 c. shortening
2 2/3 c. sugar
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
2/3 c. water
3 1/3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
2/3 c. chopped walnuts
2/3 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation

Grease 2 (9 x 5-inch) loaf pans.
Cream shortening and sugar thoroughly.
Add eggs and water.
Blend dry ingredients, except nuts and raisins.
Add pumpkin and blend.
Add nuts and raisins. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 65 to 75 minutes.
