Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. cornstarch
3 1/2 c. milk
1 1/3 c. sugar
4 eggs, separated (reserve egg whites for meringue)
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 pie shells, baked
1/3 c. cocoa or 1 can coconut or 4 to 6 medium bananas (if using bananas, use vanilla wafers to layer baking dish as crust)
Preparation

Combine cornstarch, milk and sugar and cook over medium heat until mixture begins to thicken.
Add a small portion of mixture to egg yolks.
Beat and add back to mixture.
When completely thickened, remove from fire and add salt and vanilla.
