Canadian Meat Pie(Holiday Treat) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground pork
    1 small onion, chopped small
    1/2 to 3/4 c. mashed potatoes
    1 double crust pastry
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Combine ground pork, onion and water to cover and cook slowly for about 1 hour.
    Refrigerate overnight and remove fat when chilled.
    Add spices, salt and pepper and stir in the mashed potatoes.
    This makes a filling for 1 double crust pie.
    Make vents in top crust.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
