Maryland Lady Crab Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. crabmeat
    1 c. breadcrumbs
    1 large egg
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    fat or oil for frying
Preparation
    Remove all cartilage from the crabmeat.
    In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, egg, mayonnaise and seasonings.
    Add crabmeat and mix gently but thoroughly.
    Shape into 6 cakes.
    Fry in hot fat until brown on both sides.
    Makes 6 crab cakes.
