Carolina Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. cornmeal
    2 level Tbsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    1/3 c. plus 1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients.
    Beat egg into the milk and stir in the dry ingredients just enough to blend all the ingredients.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan until done (approximately 40 to 45 minutes).
